Massage Oil - Selection<\/h2>\n

Neutral Basic Oil (Included)<\/h3>\n

At all our massage sessions, we use Paraffinum Liquidum<\/strong> as our standard oil \u2013 a medically pure, neutral<\/strong> oil with a pleasant consistency: not too thin, not too thick, just right for deep relaxation.<\/p>\n

This oil has proven itself for over 10 years and is particularly skin-friendly<\/strong> \u2013 we have never experienced any allergic reactions to it.<\/p>\n

After the massage, any excess oil is gently removed with towels. A light, nurturing layer remains on the skin \u2013 leaving it feeling soft and cared for.<\/p>\n

Aromatic Oil (Additional 10.-)<\/h3>\n

Our aromatic oils are based on a neutral paraffinum liquidum base oil with an ideal viscosity. For aromatherapy, they are enriched with carefully selected essential oils<\/strong> \u2013 for a particularly sensual and deeply effective massage.<\/p>\n

Thai Herbs Balm - Effectively Applied<\/h2>\n

To enhance the beneficial effects of our treatments, we use traditional Thai balms when needed, ...<\/p>\n

... based on time-honored recipes made from herbs, essential oils, and plant extracts<\/strong>. These balms create either a warming or cooling sensation, promote blood circulation, and provide targeted relief for muscle tension, joint discomfort, or tight fascia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Depending on the specific treatment, different variants are used \u2013 for example, invigorating menthol or soothing camphor. The balm is especially effective during intensive back massages, shoulder\/neck treatments, or foot reflexology sessions<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

We use only certified products from reputable Thai manufacturers<\/strong>, such as the well-known balms from Wang Prom. These balms contain no animal ingredients and are intended for external use only.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Is there a shower at Tida Thai Massage ?<\/h3>
\n

No we don't have a shower available. To make yourself fresh a toilet with a small washbowl is there for you. Additionally you get a warm towel to refresh your face and clean your hands after the massage.<\/p>\n\n

Note hygiene: The masseuse will be thankful, if you're not sweaty and bad smelling when you turn up for massage. If you are in doubt of your \"odor\", just ask us for a refreshment towel for cleaning.<\/p>\n\n

Does my health insurance pay for a massage ?<\/h3>

Yes, it is possible to get money back from the health insurance company. However, we are\u00a0not registered<\/strong>\u00a0as recognized complementary medical therapists with ASCA \/ EMR. What does that really mean now? The simple answer is that it depends on your insurance solution, which unfortunately requires a little more clarification. Here is our experience of when you have a chance of getting your money back:<\/p>\n\n

good chance\u2026<\/strong>if you have a (modern) supplementary insurance that supports health-promoting \/ preventive services. For example, the list of the supplementary insurance \u201cCOMPLETA PRAEVENTA\u201d at Swica contains over 100 entries with various services. Although the Thai Massage is not included, we have received feedback from customers that they get refunds.<\/p>\n\n

(small) chance\u2026<\/strong>if you have an additional insurance for complementary medicine. As a rule, an ASCA \/ EMR registered therapist is required here (we are not registered). However, some health insurances are generous, a request can never hurt. You may also be able to find out whether there are inexpensive supplementary insurances that support preventive services.<\/p>\n\n

no chance\u2026<\/strong>if you do not have any (private) supplementary insurance, i.e. only so-called basic coverage according to KVG (Health Insurance Act).<\/p>\n\n

Conclusion:<\/strong>\u00a0In any case, it is a good idea to ask the health insurance company whether and under what conditions a (partial) reimbursement of the treatment costs will take place. Supplementary insurance can be taken out from various providers independently of the basic insurance. We will be happy to provide you with a receipt for the reimbursement request.<\/p>\n\n
